Things are going well, food is on track and I am feeling good, strong and healthy.
My six year old is son is starting to worry about me. He has noticed that my clothes are extremely loose and sometimes my pants fall down ( I refuse to buy new clothes at this point so I am getting by with belts and anything with a drawstring, thank god I am a stay at home Mom because I look ridiculous sometimes!)
Anyway, he told me to stop eating good food because he doesn't want me to lose any more weight.
I explained to him that I am very, very healthy and that I still need to lose some more weight from my tummy so that my heart won't have to work as hard. He seemed okay with this but he is a worrier so I have to make a point of eating in front of him.
I can't believe its day 68, we have come so far!
Nice explanation to your son with the heart relation, I like that.
ReplyDeleteThe PCP pants fall, a classic!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure he'll have no problem grasping that, nice work Nicole!
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you doing so well Nicole. Good idea not to buy clothes until the end. I made that mistake once and bought loads of new gear to suit my new shape 6 weeks after starting on a fitness regime.. then had to do the same again a few months later. The interim clothes are just as useless as the old ones. You'll find you will also buy stuff you never thought you'd wear because when you're fit, your demeanor changes and confidence improves because you look and feel much better in general. Keep it up & see you soon.
